As the high-tech and information era has been coming, domestic textile machinery industry has to be changed accordingly. Without development of the new technology, our competitiveness in the international business environment cannot be secured. To act up to these demands, the Korea Textile Machinery Convergence Research Institute(KOTMI) is established with the support of Ministry of Commerce Industry and Energy.
The KOTMI is going to contribute to upgrade the textile machinery quality through expansion of research center building and development of new product and part. Moreover, the domestic textile machinery industry will be globalized in conjunction with Daegu. Kyongbuk textile industry renovation project.
To accomplish this goal, continuous interest and parti cipation of the related companies is the most important element. Only with the full support of the related indutrial companies, the role of KOTMI will be maximized.
